Hutch Helbig is a Graduate Student pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. He earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK. He is a working professional trained in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) who advises organizations on best practices for engineering data management. Hutch Helbig joins the Simulation to Flight Applied Research Laboratory with interests in hybrid power and propulsion systems, advanced manufacturing, and entrepreneurship. His goal with joining S2FAR is to research and develop commercial products to start his own business supporting the Aerospace and Advanced Air Mobility economy.
