Nick Clopton

Undergraduate Student

Nick Clopton is a senior studying Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University. Working as an undergraduate Research Associate, he specializes in aerodynamic modeling, simulation-to-flight analysis, and CAD optimization. His background includes co-designing subscale eSTOL aircraft, testing models in Subsonic Wind Tunnels, and working with auburns small satellite program. He is motivated by practical, hands-on engineering solutions that turn innovative flight concepts into real-world test platforms. Outside of engineering, he enjoys spending time with friends, game design, and golfing.
