Tony Chappell

PhD Student

Born in Fayetteville, AR, Antonio grew up in Norman, OK from the age of 4. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Antonio joined the Simulation to Flight Applied Research (S2FAR) Laboratory to pursue his interest in the design and control of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). He is pursuing a Ph.D. with the intention of becoming a professor. He is passionate about engineering education, research, and competition and design teams. His hobbies include running, hiking, weight lifting, and climbing.
